Work Inclusively to Ensure All are Heard

The saying “none of us is as smart as all of us” is an important one in the workplace.  To get the best ideas on the table, to participate in a rigorous debate over the best ideas, to invite colleagues with opinions and perspectives that are different than ours – it might be more difficult to get to an agreement, but in the end, it is almost always a better decision.  Because ‘none of us is as smart as all of us,’ it is essential to work inclusively to get to the best solution. In this MicroBurst we will discuss the importance of selecting a diverse team, creating space for all to contribute, and the value of a contrarian. Use our Work Inclusively template to help formulate your action steps and start building a more inclusive work environment.
